Vehicle in for warranty check (comprehensive insured extended warranty) on the rear diff that keeps alerting.
2019 M40i First Edition covered 33,000 miles. Not abused. Never launch controlled (tried and couldn't remember the order of buttons/actions lol)
They have checked wheel speed sensors, visual inspection of the suspension and diff it self (and wrote "seems ok..." in the tech report), found only 1 fault code which was voltage related and found a loose connection which was tightened, have since changed the control unit module but the problem persists (in fact came on 10 miles after collecting the car after they had it for 5 days, for the 4th visit since August...
Anyway - They have said they have found the front wheel bucked on the most recent visit; (the imbedding doesn't work so a link sorry - its a short for some reason https://www.youtube.com/shorts/R5V7ToTJxKk
The report on it says "will cause vibration" - the service rep on the phone then eluding that this could or might affect the sensors on the rear - despite it being a NSF wheel and couldn't guarantee it.
I have no vibrations, no steering feel differences, no feedback at all.
What also annoying is they said that they checked the wheels suspension and rotation speed sensors on the 1st visit months ago - so why was this not found then - or was it not even present then! I avoid potholes like the are lava
I'm thinking that they're trying to side step it as a non-warranty item
They have provided an estimate for the wheel... £744 fitted.... for one!!

Anyway - Thoughts on this affecting the rear diff sensors/triggering an issue?
and - would you get it repaired or replace (bearing in mind no symptoms from the front/steering I can feel
