Just here to show off my new family wagon to accommodate our family increasing by 1!

Anyway, here it is, the Skoda Octavia iV Wagon PHEV :D

Never owned a PHEV or EV before and while the purists might hate it, its bloody fantastic! We can drive around town (and even to work!) on electric only! No need to worry about killing the engine from never getting warm on short journeys, or the environment of course.

And don't worry, the Z4 isn't going anywhere!!

I'm glad you like it. TBH something like that would probably work well for me as a daily driver if I could charge it on anything other than a 13A socket!

Good to know the Z4 is staying though.

We charge it on a standard 13A 3 pin socket as the car has a max charging rate of 3.6kW anyway (13A 3 pin delivers 3.2kW which is fast enough for us). Most hybrids are limited to this 3.6kW charging speed it seems.

Good choice. I’m currently on my second Skoda superb iv estate. The first one did 90k in 3 years and never missed a beat. If you download the Skoda app you can start the air conditioning remotely before you get in. A god send at the moment.

We recently got one of these as a family barge (same spec, maybe - SEL?) and it's been great. Surprisingly quick as well.

Wouldn't have touched it when new though - so many software issues!
2008 Z4MC: heavy wheels | crap suspension | skittish rear end | wobbly engine | not enough induction noise | underwhelming turn in | inconsistent braking | lardy battery | chubby steering wheel
2006 Z4 2.5si: gone
