Yet another victim of dementia it seems, but then 86 is a decent age.

Did you know they buried a lot of the sailors in Gibraltar but they put Nelson in a barrel of rum to preserve his body until they got him home

Can't believe with him and his brother coming from just a few miles 'up the road' Sunderland scouts didn't pick them up as kids.

For awhile I lived near Jack Charlton in North Yorkshire. On one occasion I nipped into a parking space just ahead of him in Gt Ayton. I must say he had a fine command of Anglo Saxon swear words! :oops:
