Just wondered if the previous owner of this coupe is on here. Its been looked after but trying to find out any more info.
Tiefgruen Green / Caramel interior. Picked up at auction, its on its way up the motorway to me and excited to start tinkering
Drop me a note if it was yours or you know who might have owned it.

Thought you'd nicked Barty's motor for a minute there!
Definite improvement on babyshit brown. :poke: :D

What wheels are those?
Looks like alternate thick and thin spokes?

No more roof motor worries at least. 8)

No idea on the wheels yet and they say imitation is the greatest form of flattery! :D

Never seen that colour before on a zed, looks lovely.

I had that on my 7 series

Lovely colour, can’t be many with caramel interior

Wheels BMW 200’s I think

Has it got wood?

It has. I’m holding my breath about that bit. Its not normally my thing and had visions of piano black replacement.
Just have to see how it matches the babys**t/caramel interior

It’s doing an overnight stop now so I’ve got to hold on till the morning.

You can't beat a bit of wood in a beemer (or anywhere really)

That colour is really growing on me, but with those wheels it is probably an SE model.

Every Tiefgrunen one I've seen advertised has been an SE with wood, usually beige leather and an autobox. :(

Looks like you’ve picked up one of my Tiefgruen’s brothers! Curious to see where you’ll take it, I’ve decided to paint the wood into the Tiefgruen exterior colour, came up great

I had an introductory first wash today. You know the one where you find all the little niggles! I’m chuffed with the condition. Lots of things planned but today was just assessing and appreciating.

Barty, I make no appologies if mine ends up along the lines of yours. You have a beautiful car and one of the reasons I wanted this one. When I’ve had some time to play maybe we’ll get a side by side shot  :D

So here’s the wrap; I picked it up in a salvage auction. Written off by the insurer for offside front damage. On first inspection it’s a travesty. It’s popped the lower ball joint and a dent in the wing. It’s a CatN but it’s better than many ’Clear’ vehicles I’ve seen over the past few years of Zed tinkering. It’s solid and only getting better from here

The priority will be a full service and oil change. Then a complete overhaul on the whole suspension and realignment.

It’s had a rather loud back box delete. So ‘deleting the delete’ is on the to do list if anyone has a back box for a 3.0si coupe laying around. :)

Cosmetic mods are already bubbling in my head. The MSteering Wheel is already in the garage and I have some new interior parts on the way up the country but let’s not get carried away on day one! For now I’m just enjoying the many colours of this paint. Everything from mesmerising green sparkle through to almost black late in the evening.

Nice one Street.

I suppose that's why the Sepang search went on hold!

It's a great colour and somehow the Caramel interior just works really well. Hope you can live with them as I suspect M-Sport seats in Caramel might be a bit of a challenge.

Still it's a manual so not all bad. I hope you'll keep us updated with your progress.

I have a plan afoot already MrTidy :)
I love the uniqueness of the Sepang.. and I think this might be even more so!
