Wheel / car parts courier via Shiply - SR Transit

I’ve just taken delivery of a lovely set of 405M’s from a courier called SR Transit via Shiply.
They call themselves ‘car parts specialist’ (all one word) on Shiply, but all the invoices and emails come from ‘SR Transit - Part of Sapphire Ridge LTD.’
Their feedback on Shiply was excellent, and their service has been excellent also.
They are more expensive than Paisley Freight, BUT… they want to collect wheels and other car parts ‘un-wrapped’. If you’ve ever wrapped up a set of alloys & tires for a courier, you’ll know what a time consuming, costly load of hassle this is!!
They take detailed photos on pick up, and again on delivery - so there’s no disputing the ‘before & after’ condition, and they then wrap in quilts, blankets etc in the back of the van. The back of the van looked like a sea of padding, couldn’t see a single component for all the quilts and blankets.
The cost was £68 (vs Paisley freight at circa £42 for 18’s with tires) - this was more than worth it to me as it meant the buyer was happy to sell to me because it was hassle free, not sure this purchase would have happened at all if the seller had to start wrapping them up.
If I was selling wheels going forward I definitely use them again, despite the extra cost, as it was just so easy.
Clearly this isn’t going to be cost effective for a cheap set of wheels in need of a refurb, but for more expensive, premium stuff highly worthwhile
