Genuine CSL Wheels - What's the big deal?

R60BBA said of OE CSLs "The wheels are flow-formed cast, which means that they maintain the strength of a fully forged wheel, but are much lighter."

You just need deep pockets!

I never liked the 224 and as I got closer to buying a Z4M I swore they’d be the first things to go. However, with time I’ve come to really appreciate them as they really suit the car.

If you could get a set of 19s with more aggressive offsets I’d be tempted by them over the CSL!

So that’s the same technology as the lower cost Apex ARC-8s like I have…I know mine’s not a Z4M..
“We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard”….

I like CSLs but when I met up with 5 other Z4 owners shortly after lockdown 3 of us had Reps and one had OEs.

They were so common that when someone a mile or so from me was selling a set of 224s I bought them to be different!

If only Z4Ms had rear wheels like Z3Ms.

That’s part of the reason why I moved on to Volks TE37s…
…also because I’m a tart!
