+1 for the tarpaulin :)
Overkill if you have a hardtop but saves defrosting windows and doors open easy
Needs to be dry underneath it to stop it sticking though

I had a slightly different problem this morning. My remote key didnt work to unlock the car or open the boot. Tried it for ages. Eventually had to admit defeat and open with the key in the door. This set the alarm off and made me look a right idiot. :( Alarm went off after I started her.

It definately wasn't the battery in the key as it works fine now. I can only put it down to the cold but I have no idea why!

-6 degrees when i went out to the car this am and a little grief to open car, didn't put the roof down as i didn't want to damage the seals around roof, drove a little way and let car warm up, temperature rose to -3 degrees and down came the roof for some glorious morning sunshine in the snow :)
Just looked online at gummi plege that looks like a top tip, will try it out. Thanks guys

De icer not good on rubber seals guys, tap cold water will do it,but temp change is still risk, towel, over windows or similar will protect it, but doesn't look too sexy tbh :-)
