A milestone, literally
It’s been a few years since I’ve been on here, but I thought I’d share the old e86 has just knocked past 200k miles. I’ve done 150k of them in the last 12 years. It’s a battle scarred old thing these days, and still on its original clutch!! The passenger seat still looks new, the steering wheel looks like it was brought up from the titanic. Still love it though.

That's very impressive.
The N52 engine seems to be as bulletproof as the M54!

Amazing

Now, Sterling grey Z4 2.2 with cup holders, stubby aerial and sport seats. Roadsters ‘cause they’re great with the roof down.
Ford Anglia, Red Sprite, a few MG midgets, MGB Roadster and yellow Ford Capri, all gone many years now.

And it seems to be just as powerful and as economical as when I got it. Uses a bit more oil but I guess that’s to be expectedMr Tidy wrote: Sun Jun 22, 2025 10:26 pm That's very impressive.![]()
