Really Impressed

Post by Baza » Fri Sep 20, 2024 2:51 pm

I recently needed to change for a new set of Tyres all round. Not because I was down to the limit far from it, My Michelin Pilot Sport were fitted in 2016 and had covered only 7000 miles but at eight years old time was up. Reading various reviews I decided to try a set of Kumho Ecsta PS71 the reviews I read were positive except for longevity. Based on my previous age V miles this was not an issue. Having now driven for 5 months I am really impressed with my choice, dare I say more impressed than my previous set. The car feels more planted on the road the grip is great and they seem to handle bad road surfaces without issues, noise is not a problem no better or worse than previous. I am running 32 front and 36 rear. With the full set fitted from Blackcircles at £390.00 I consider it a good investment.

Yup CherryM has them on his 23i and it handles well on them..sticks to the road well apart from when he's green laning..

Another fan of Kumho ecstas. Good tyres at reasonable cost. Not the best when cold and wet, but what Summer tyre is? :)
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

As mine normally sits tucked up in the garage over winter, not to concerned with cold and wet. But I take your point.
