What have you done to your car today?
I cleaned up after my cat.
I had the bonnet up... witnessed my cat leap from the wall into the engine bay... he had a quick sniff and look around and then pissed all over the N52 goodness.

Very cool! How would you rate the finish? Heard the clear coat isn’t always briliant?
Four Alfa's and a Ducati later, I've turned to the dark side...

Hi Barty .
No its not a showroom finish like the diffuser but then it is a decent price for what it is . I don`t think they are clear coated just epoxy gelcoat . If you wanted a decent finish you would need to wet sand / clear /sand /clear and so on . The weave is also quite wavey and there are some bubbles. To me it does the job and is sold as a race part so is acceptable especially from 6 foot away

The cable in my nearside window regulator finally succumbed to corrosion and snapped yesterday. It was the original and almost 21 years old ! Managed to source a new complete regulator locally (not a cable repair kit) and fitted it this evening. Quite a straightforward job if a little bit fiddly. All greased up, adjusted and working very smoothly and quietly now. It's so smooth that when I get chance I'll strip the offside door down and inspect the regulator with a view to cleaning/greasing or replacing that side

He did also jump in when I got in to move it... straight up the back, slipped through to the coupe's boot like the boot cover is one of those rat traps where the rat falls in a bucket... then out again in sheer panic when the engine fired up and the car started moving. My other car IDGAF, but I need to keep him from destroying the leather and boot cover in the Beamer... I must never let him in that car again (caveat - caged en route to vet is ok!)
