Hi,

Can anyone tell me the correct wiper blades for a 2016 BMW Z4 Sdrive 1.8i Convertible.
and the best place to buy them other than the main BMW dealers.
Thank you.
.

21" both sides, and I got the Bosch Aeroblades that I picked up from my local Halfrauds. Been on a couple of years with no issues so far

Hiya

Just replaced mine and found that a 21" on drivers side with a 20" on passengers worked better than both being 21"

61612151749 Set of wiper blades

Is the OE part number..in terms of quality and performance arguably the best..

But at least £51 from non dealer sources..

I’ve tried Bosch and 2 other brands but came back to OE version twice now…FWIW

Try LLLparts, always seem cheapest.

Not sure if P and P included.

£59.56 delivered in the UK..not so competitive..vat wasn’t included either..

The genuine OEM ones are unique. If you're a perfectionist, and don't want the last inch on the passenger side sitting proud of the windscreen then genuine is the only way to go. They've got much more of a curve and sit on the windscreen much better.

There is one other option that I've not seen mentioned here.. purchase longer Bosch ones for about £7 each (https://amzn.eu/d/bFBMnJP) take the rubber from these and replace with your old ones and just trim the excess (keeping the original metal wiper body).

Brilliant. That’s a great endorsement. My next ones will likely come from BMW - as I bought OE for my Mercedes recently - despite the Valeo being good quality. Thanks

The original BMW ones even if made by Bosch are a slightly different size which you won’t get from the motor factors.

Would OE wipers be ‘forth road bridge’ style or aero blade style? I’m thinking it’s the former…?

Get them from places like eurocarparts, carparts4less, General traffic, there are normally dealers in main towns and the Bosch aeroblades I found are really good :)

Been covered many times..the OE E89 design is a multi cantilever design, two tiers of metal structure which is why it can follow the compound curve of the windscreen..

Bosch made many parts for the E89 but wipers weren’t one..maybe they did the E85..I don’t know..
