Unfortunately not, they could have put a Seagull movement in it and still kept it at a reasonable cost, shame they haven't as its a nice wearable watch otherwise. Acrylic saphire which I think is more in keeping with the vintage feel.
I do like the spring bars on the strap though as each has two releases one at each end of the bar which makes releasing the strap super easy, first watch I've ever had with that.

Cartier have launched the ultimate in quick change and easy adjustment to metal bracelets, but it’s at a price point less expensive brands could not compete.TitanTim wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2023 8:01 pmUnfortunately not, they could have put a Seagull movement in it and still kept it at a reasonable cost, shame they haven't as its a nice wearable watch otherwise. Tell a lie, there is an Auto movement in the Marlin range its just not the Chronograph version with no date, nice looking in its own right.

Tag Heuer Carrera, wedding present to ourselves, SWMBO got a Tag also. Between the two probably saved about £1.2K from buying here iirc. Knew if I didn’t do it for the wedding I probably never would.
