Post by Kennethmann6 » Sat Jan 13, 2024 8:27 pm

I own a 1998 and 2006, 328 I convertible’s and just purchased a 2019 Z4. I’ve been changing my oil for 40 years. I was blindsided that I can’t find any instructions on how to do it on YouTube. anyone have any ideas Where I can get information on an oil change.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Sorry I can't help with your question, but it may help if you say what engine your car has.

And we wouldn't mind seeing a photo or two of it!

I am no expert but think you may have a leak somewhere!
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

E89 20i Now fully dried
Z3 'free litre'. Project and a half. Complicated!

Wow, once again a very impressive HowTo description! :headbang:

AFAIK none of theses models is related to an E89 Z4, which is topic in these 3 subforums. It seems to be very difficult to identify the correct folder to post ones problems.
Pardon, je suis Allemand

I had the e89 20i, that had a plastic sump and it was recommended to replace the plastic sump bolt every oil change - i think the bmw filter came with a new one.
