I’m close to a deal on a new BMW and the dealer is offering a fair (dealer fair) price for my Z4. But if anyone on the forum's interested there's an opportunity. If not it'll go as PX.

Car Details............

Z4 E89 35i M Sport with Manual 6 speed gearbox. Black Sapphire with Black Kansas Leather interior. November 2014 (64 plate). It’s not been my daily driver so mileage is low at 15,600.

I’ve owned the car from new and had the 5 year service pack, so it’s always been serviced by the BMW dealership. It’s never been through a car wash (even at the dealer), always washed by hand. The car is always garaged and has the remainder of it’s BMW Comprehensive Insured Warranty. This is transferable and was renewed last year by me for £422 with a £250 excess. It also includes BMW Emergency Service cover.

Please know this - it will need a service at the end of October – I think it’ll be brake fluid and oil / filter change and the MoT is due 4 November. I’ll get a new ticket for it if it sells here. If not it’ll go to the dealer as is (he’s not bothered).

Fitted Option Highlights

Comfort Package (£1265.00)
• Wind deflector
• Auto dimming, folding mirrors
• Extended storage
• Park distance control, front and rear
• Cruise control with brake function

Media Package – BMW Professional (£2065.00)
• Navigation system – BMW Professional Multimedia
• BMW Online services
• Real Time Traffic Information
• Information Plus
• Remote Services
• BMW Apps interface
• Enhanced Bluetooth telephone with USB and Voice Control

Steering Wheel Heating (£155.00)
19” Double-spoke 326 M Alloys Wheels (£575.00)
Seat Heating (£325.00)
Loudspeaker System – BMW Professional (£870.00)

Plus all of the other standard fitments on a car of this level. The 326M's were taken off the car at 11,100 miles and put into store. Refitted today, but the Beyern Aviatics with Continental Sport Contact 6's, as shown below, could be fitted if preferred.

IDrive display shows Rear Brake Pads in 36,000 miles, Fronts in 49,000.

I have all service invoices, old MoT’s other receipts etc.

Asking £18,000. Happy to answer any questions.

I am based in Solihull, 10 minutes from the M42/J5.

Covid safety applies for us both if you’d like to take a look.

How lovely. Well specced and cared for car it would seem. Come on Mr Wilks...
Seems a nice one to keep on the forum, instead of going to the dealer... :D

Thank you all for your kind words. It's nice to be able to offer a car for sale that I don't have to make any apologies for.

I meant to add that it's availability is time limited due to wanting to secure the deal on the car I'm buying. I will be committing next week so if it's still here after the weekend then time will be winding down, but if there's interest I'll do all I can to make it available to a forum member. :)

This would have been the perfect upgrade for us and would have jumped at it if not for needing to sell ours first.

It's a car that responds directly to your input and can reward or embarrass you in equal measure. :) :(

If you underestimate it and are not aware of what happens when the turbos spool up then it will bite you quite severely. Being able to instantly select and hold whatever gear you feel is appropriate gives you a lot of smiley options, but if you don't know what to do with the power when you have it attached to your brain via your hands and feet then it's going to get messy.

And if you've turned off the DSC it could be messier still.

If you get to 3000 rpm and bury your foot, the rev counter will rise faster than most people's left hand and foot co-ordination, so you'd better be ready for what's coming at you. And don't forget to tell your right foot what to do as well. And of course it won't change gear for you - that's what brings out the driver in you. Plug 'n Play it is not.

And before the war starts, I'm not knocking DCT or auto boxes at all, I like those as well. But this is something a little different.

I have a sale agreed, fresh MoT issued today. The new owner is due to pick up on Saturday.

I'll change the banner to SOLD as soon as the deed has taken place. Thanks to everyone who has enquired about the car and also to those who've passed nice comments.

If I had a bigger garage I don't think i'd be parting with it. :(

But on this occasion 2 into 1 definitely won't go.

Congratulations! Probably just as well, as I kept looking at this. What a beauty.
Question: what will you be doing with the Beyerns?

Thanks, I will be disposing of the Beyern Aviatics. I'll list them on the forum unless anyone wants to make me an offer on the back of this thread. Spec is:-

Wheels
Fronts: 19" Beyern Aviatic - Silver with Polished Rim (19 x 8.5" 5x120/N ET30)
Rears: 19" Beyern Aviatic - Silver with Polished Rim (19 x 9.5" 5x120/N ET35)

Tyres
Fronts: Continental Sport Contact 6 235/35R19 91Y XL (EA72)
Rears: Continental Sport Contact 6 265/30R19 93(Y XL (EA72)

They have TPMS sensors already fitted. Rimstyle are doing this combination now for about £2150 I think, but the rears are a different offset and need a 5mm spacer.

These fit straight on - no bolt change or spacers required. Conti's have done about 4,000 miles. One of the front Aviatics has a couple of light scuffs which a new owner might want to address. Or then again I always thought a shadow chrome powder coat would look nice?

I'll be taking some pix in the next day or so. PM me an email address for photo's if anyone's interested.

Bob
