Hi,
I can log in Ok with laptop because it's remembered my password, but I can't log in with my iPad because it's forgotten it.
Trying to retrieve a password to this forum seems to be impossible.
The 'forgotten password' link doesn't work - at least for me, and I have looked in my spam folder.
And then there is the security system that says after so many failed attempts to contact a forum administrator - impossible, and who are they? They are not listed and they can't be contacted unless you have logged in.
So, I'm just praying that my laptop doesn't also loose my password. I find this forum SO interesting and useful and I occasionally have something useful to add, but I mainly view it on my iPad. And I can't.
For example, I've seen posts about damaged iDrive buttons - I've tried the transfers, with limited success and am ready to use the button covers from USA.
I've also had issues with the E89 HPFP - it's noisy unless I use Shell 99 Octane fuel - which I've posted on the Facebook forum.
Even though I'm now logged in and writing this on my laptop, I can't change my password to something I know, because the system asks me for my old password before it would let me. And what I have written down doesn't comply with what your system has recorded.
So please, please help me.

When you login on your laptop, try copying the dots from the password entry box.conwyman wrote: ↑Mon Feb 03, 2020 8:20 pm Hi,

Then login to the forum.
Go to your User control panel, Profile tab, The select, Account settings, from the left hand list.
Then paste your password in and try changing to a new password. Might just work.
other wise ask one of the mods to re-set it for you.
Hope that helps.
