Painted Calipers - Express Yourself !
Thought I'd run this one past y'all.
What do you think about painting your calipers and what about colour ?
When I changed out my snow tyres for summer rims, I took a scotch brite to the calipers.
They look better but would improve alot with a coat of paint.
Now all I see is my dingy calipers peeking out between the spokes.
Originally thought ..Go silver and stay close to stock.
At least they would look clean !
Then I got to Canadian Tire and saw the selection ...
Red ..Every Ricer has red or worse. But it would match the red leather interior.
Gold could be good but the first gold caliper I saw on a car looked more severe rust than Brembo Gold.
Blue - Not bad actually
White - Well it is a white car
Black / Flat Black - That would make the caliper visually disappear.
Lime Green - Never
Copper ??? The jury is out but that might look like Gold on dope.
So for the collective intelligentsia here.
Express yourself.
Cheers Bumpy

Stock calipers silver or black IMO.
Don't want to draw too much attention to them.

I keep thinking of this but going 'graphite' which is close to stock but not the same if you get what I mean.
Liking the blue markplant, looks neat alongside the silver bodywork.
Silver always looks good while staying pretty subtle.

I went for a light gold - its actually really subtle, I really like it. I'll chuck a photo up later when I find one!

They give a fresh/new like appearance without getting that ricer look.
They lift up the car without realising the calipers have been painted; it's more of a subconscious feature.
For a proper bbk it matters less. They are flashy anyway.

Did mine blue last year. Pretty close to the BMW blue. I think it looks great on the black car with gun metal wheels.

I favour red to match the red leather. Might do it now I know others do too.
