Busy few weeks working on my M/// update page 3

Not for me afraid. I really like the aero skirts but the wheels, lights and spoiler do nothing to enhance the car for me.

I don't get why people buy old cars and then try and make them look modern.

I'm pretty sure they say the same about modding too mate, good job we're all different eh?

I made little mods externally and once put csl s on
Even Bmw said made car "fresher"
Old school motor that didn't look dated
So maybe a cheeky rear diffuser to fill out bottom
Did on mine;)
 
Look awesome, imo csls are looking a little dated and overdone, good on you for trying something different. How does the weight of the wheels compare to csls?

From what I've seen there are only a couple kilos difference.

I remember your z4 on ebay. Looked like a good buy for someone.

Were the e89 seats easy to fit? Or did they require some fabrication skills?

Had some wiring to do underneath the seats for the motors,heaters,seatbelt and sensor. But it was really only a matter of tracing stuff back. Then just made up a couple plates to line up with the existing bolts holes.

The E89 seats are really comfortable, far better than both options on the E85/6
 
A trip to the local shop on Saturday ended in an hour and a half trip over Dartmoor. I absolutely love this car, the noise and performance are so intoxicating.





 
officially decided i like them... i bet they weight alot though :-(

the car looks REALLY fresh on them, hell this could be in the showroom right now exterior wise , such an incredible design... say that alot but look at it!!

Spent a good few hours on Saturday washing and waxing. Changed the wheels again.

Car looked beautiful when I went out for a spin this morning.
