For Sale: Diablo Exhaust for Z4M - SOLD pending collection

Ok, I can't believe I'm doing this but I have no choice :( I need to get an exhaust for the M3 (needs to be a crowd pleaser when I'm doing Drift Demos and passenger rides) But I'm out of spare cash I can use. So need to sell something :( The exhaust on the Z4 although sounds fantastic, I can't justify the £600+ invested in it when I have modified OEM sitting in the garage :|

Anyway, less of my sob story:

These are Rogue Engineering Diablos. Awesome quality exhausts that sound superb. They also weigh a lot less than the OEM boxes so as well as fitting a more free flowing exhaust (giving more power?) you're also saving weight therefore not only improving performance from that angle too, but you're improving fuel economy. (this is how I justified buying them :D )

Right the noise 8) At a steady cruise at part throttle you can hardly tell they are there. At 70mph its just a distant and subtle grumble from the rear. However open the throttle and get the revs up and its like hell has erupted :driving: 8) Seriously its the most awesome thing you'll hear. The only point you get a drone is below 2100 rpm if you put your foot down (which isn't a natural thing to do anyway)

Here is a link to an ad for them:

Brand new these cost around £1400!!!! However I got these for a bargain so in the spirit of the forum I'm not going to try to make money on them, so I'll pass on my bargain.

I'm asking just £625 :o First refusal will be given to someone who can collect, but if push comes to shove I will post if the buyers covers the cost. I do travel about for work so maybe able to get them closer to you at some point.

Here are some pics when I fitted them:

Comparison pic with OEM. Notice you lose that horrible mild steel blob hanging down from the back (although you gain something else you need to polish! :D )

If anyone wants to come over and have a drive in my car with them fitted you are more than welcome. I'm planning on removing them on Sunday so if you can come before then then great. Trust me, if you can get there before then do so, you'll love it!!! I'll leave them on a bit longer if pre-arranged, otherwise I want to get them off as they have had little use and I want them to remain that way

I'm seriously tempted, and would save me doing the bypass mod, but just don't know when I'll have the time to pick them up in the next couple of weeks :headbang:

Where are you based?

I'm just south of Grantham? Would be an excuse for a drive across the Peak District!! :driving:

Lovely wish I had the spare cash :( , new rear discs and pads and a 2600 mile road trip next month funds are restricted, otherwise I would have been all over these like a dog with two d***s :o :P ... best of luck Mark

I'm in London during the week, so I could divert up the A1 and then back to Liverpool via the A50.

Are you around on Thursday evening, as I won't be able to leave London until at least 4pm (so Grantham at 6:30-ish).

Will still have to find a way to get some cash out though - or I could do a bank/paypal transfer?

This Thursday evening? If so yes  I'll need to spend some time 'working from home' on Thursday to remove the exhausts though :D So as long as you give me your word you definitely want them :)

Bank Transfer is no problem. Paypal if you don't mind covering the fees (or send as Gift?)

Oh and BTW I'm just a few miles off of the A1 8)

It's a deal then - are you going to fit them for free too :P

Do you want a nominal, non-refundable deposit by paypal to secure them.

I am becoming a bit of an expert at removing and refitting exhausts to these cars!! :P

Don't worry about a deposit, just promise me you're having them and thats good enough for me

I promise.

If I can get to a bank (difficult as my regular hours are about 7am-7pm) I'll bring cash, otherwise I'll do the transfer/paypal in your presence.

Don't worry about fitting them though, as we'll be stuck if it needs a gasket/bolt/hangar, and I'll just get it fitted somewhere local.

Awsome your going to love thoses BB's Tony, well Gel!
Hopefully they'll be loud enough when I want/need it and quiet when I don't - and it's a much smaller risk than something like the titanium Akrapovic ones if I decide I don't like them

You'll love them mate. And the good thing about buying these 2nd hand is when you come to sell up you'll get the money back, so effectively costs you nothing :D

(I can justify buying anything :P )

Man you have to be quick on this forum.
I know he has given his word. But if I does fall out can I get second dibs please :)
Live near Newark as well so would be well suited as only half an hour away.

They'll hopefully have had enough miles to have 'seasoned' a little from new.

Been there, done that, and never got back most of the £50k I've spent

Don't bother doing any big mods anymore, and simply buy something faster/nimbler.
