Roadster owners, wear your hats...

It's a bit hot this week:

Now I don't know about you guys, but after owning my Z4 for 7 summers and experiencing 35c+ heat whilst driving (with the roof down) quite a few times, I would recommend you wear a cap, even if you have hair like me, or you will get to your destination and not know what you've driven there for

It's not great. In these Temps I actually prefer keeping the hood and windows up and sticking the a/c on full blast

I imagine this is why the figures suggest that less convertibles are sold on the continent, compared to the UK, as their weather tends to be a lot warmer than ours!

Anyway, happy and safe driving :driving:

This is the forecast for where I am in France. And slightly higher tomorrow! 😓

Had a 2 hour journey to do and stopped at the garage to pick up a cap. Glad I did.

Caps and roofs up. WTF is wrong with you lot.

Roof down, but cap on.

Whats wrong with me?

Well, lots of things, but in this case its very very thin (ok, no) hair!!
Well while we are being so honest. I have to admit to sun cream on my ears in this weather.

Could be some truth in that. My uncle has lived in Phoenix Arizona for donkey's years and he quickly gave up on buying convertibles, the sun is just too strong.

We just got back home after a nice drive through Wallingford and then on to Henley for an ice cream then onto a pub for a beer. So nice driving home in the dark with the roof down through the lanes.
Oh, and I like caps as they keep the sun out of my eyes too.

No motorways in Cornwall. :D

Nope, just golden beaches and good waves for the boys last week....Trevone last Thursday....if I don’t get to retire down here it’ll be a tragedy.....for me....not the rest of civilisation I’ll admit....

We’re a long way from the sea here in France but we have the next best thing. 😀 it’s 30C at the minute and they are forecasting 40C for this afternoon.
