Hi All

After a two year break, the English/Welsh Meet could be back this year, in the Bristol/Gloucester/Gwent area

It's sketchy at the moment and no promsises, but I'm working on a similar theme with a meet hosted by BMW again. For those new to the forum, the agenda is that we usually all meet at a BMW showroom where we are treated to free refreshments before setting off on a 100 mile tour skirting the English Welsh borders including the Wye Valley, with a pub lunch stop.

I envisage that the chosen Sunday will fall around late March or April and will hopefully coincide with the launch of the new Z4 being in the showroom so we can all get a good look and feel for it, However, I'm planning another twist this year, just to make things a little different !

As I say it's early days, but I just wanted to put it out there and gauge the level of interest. In previous years we've had between 45 and 60 cars on this run, so in order to gain BMW's support again, we would need a decent turn out.

Please let me know how many are provisionally 'but seriously' interested and then I can start the planning phase if we've enough support.

enjoyed the north wales run last April, this seems to be the South Wales run. Count me in for sure :driving:

Depending on the date I'd be up for this. I've got a lot on in March and April but hopefully be able To fit it in

I’m up for it, had a great time before, it was my very first meet.

Stuart

I could be interested also and unless something pops up first it would be my first meet.
Based in Essex

I would be interested in this depending on the date  There's a few of us going up to Scotland for an Ayrshire run on April 7th :D

Put us down as 'potential' - we're interested but would need to know actual dates before we can commit

Good initial response. thanks.

I can't confirm an exact date yet until I've spoken to the dealership. All I know is that they are supportive, but I need to ensure that I've got a decent level of interest before I go to them and also it depends on when they're getting the new Z4 into the showroom.

Let the numbers build and then I will go back to them over the next few weeks and I'll ask how and when they can accommodate us.

If they've got the new Z4 - perhaps they can arrange a list for test drives... no thrashing it, honest...

The South Wales meets I have been to before have been the best car meets I have been on. 100% interested and will confirm once date known.

Thanks Alan.

I’m interested. As with others it will depend on the chosen date and us having alternative arrangements for the kids that day. Will keep eye on this thread and see what develops. :)

Another interested party here. Thanks for taking the time out to plan & organise, sounds great  Hoping it doesn't clash with the North Wales trip on the 28th :?
