Sorry. Not sure to be honest as I don’t tend to travel over by car. I’m sure others can advise you.
I would suggest that having email proof between you and the person you are visiting would help. Plus a contact number for them so the officials can check if needed.

I have just checked a few homepages on the subject of entering the UK. It seems to be easier to bring a non-functioning roof to the continent than to bring some electronic devices to the island as luggage.


Btw guys, you can switch off the annoying gong while driving with a defective roof.
