We choose to go to on with this endeavour at this time and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard…

This is most random. More pictures needed!! Unless someone has dragged it up through the chassis to hide it out of the way. If it would even reach

What is the issue to get this "sensor" or wire identified?

It's probably a new sensor that has been fitted and just left tucked away to stop premature warnings of the brake pads wearing out.
I'm sure there are a few members on here that have fitted new sensors but just tied them out of the way instead of attaching them to the pads.

I do now as they are more trouble than they are worth.
Thing is though that the sensor in the picture is way too short to reach the wheel, from what can be seen. :?
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

It's difficult to see but it looks like it's coiled round and the cable isn't really very long anyway.

I fitted new and tucked out of the way, more annoying than useful.
