ZHP short shift knob

I've been looking through some threads on here regarding the ZHP short shift knob.

I am interested in buying one but want a plain 6 speed insert rather than the ones with the M badge on. I notice LeatherZ do them in the US but wanted to know if there is anywhere in the UK I can order one from.

I don't think there is, I searched but couldn't find anywhere. It cost me about £100 for mine from the US, with postage and taxes.
 
Just ordered one from them - the postage was $35; and the gear Knob $62 - comes to how much the knob would cost inthe UK anyway I thought!
 
I'm looking forward to it - I'm not a big 'modder' as I like a standard look - and this is what I like about this, it looks actually more standard than the standard one, and everyone seems to think it feels better too. So win win all round.

I'm not however looking forward to trying to get the old one off... Any tips apart from pulling like mad?
 
The old one will come off reasonably easily!

Put in 4th gear and pull hard. Try not to smack yourself in the face when it comes off :!:
 
Agree re the standard look, I had it on my 330ci when I bought it, not sure if it was standard or the guy before retro fitted it.
 
My interior is red leather and Grey. The leather gaiter is gray also. Im thinking the ZHP knob will look totally wrong with it being black?
