Zhp gear knob

Hi guys,
I am relatively new to this, only owned my z4 for 6 months. I have a 5 speed 2.5l e85 and the gear knob has become all sticky and is peeling, I want to replace it with the zhp one but all the ones I am finding say they are for the E46. I contacted a dealer who was selling one on eBay and they said it's for the E46 only. But I've seen on the forums that other users have got the six speed one. Just wanted to confirm that if I get the 5speed it will in fact fit my car?

I recently bought a second hand 5 speed one for mine, I peeled off the sticker and changed it for a 6 speed one.
It was listed with the part number you have, 25117896031
Fits fine
 
You'll be fine with that OP, the fitting is the same on the E46, E85/6, E90 and probably others too (but I have owned and swapped them on those).

My E46 was a 5-speed Sport model and had that exact ZHP as standard.
