ZermattV and I did a trip to Knockhill today. Big thanks to ZermattV for the invite

Was a really good day, albeit a bit wet and cold, but that's par for the course in Scotland :lol:

Some cracking cars about today, including a Ford Focus race car with...... wait for it......... this is mental....... really mental....... 911bhp

The Focus wasn't too quick in the corners, but on the straights, made a Noble M12 look like it was standing still :!:

The Weather was pretty relevant....racing delayed for 2 hours due to hill fog..... Only at Knockhill.

We had a good drive through Fife afterwards too .

That Focus was Epic .... It lost a race prepared Noble and monstered an ex BTCC Seat Leon . we also saw the worlds slowest Porsche Cayman Cup car that was being pursued closely by a MK II Fiesta.

Pity I only heard about this at the last minute certainly worth getting a bigger group together for next year .

But he picked up a 10 second penalty for his start so Graham won it ... They had a real tussle through the traffic , what a great class - some real odd matches of cars which leads to tight racing.

The surprise of the day had to be the Mk2 Fiesta clinging on to the Cayman Cup Car. The Cayman pulled away on the straights, but the Fiesta had him through the twisty bits

The Focus was absolutely mental. The splitter chattered off the track under hard braking, and the turbo flutter was music to my ears. Cracking day all round really
