Zedward - A Thank you from Lauren's Mum

Number5

Lifer
 Bristol M4/M5
This is the thread for posting up Zedwards progress around the Country.

More about Lauren:
http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/features/6887565/Teen-girl-who-hasnt-been-able-to-eat-or-drink-for-ONE-YEAR-launches-appeal-for-life-changing-surgery.html

I've opened it in the Gallery section as I'm anticipating loads of photos of him at various points around the Country. Please take him to the most extreme/interesting places possible and get the most unique photos you can, where ever he goes. (I'm quite happy to offer a prize for the most original photo by the time he returns home). However - please remember 14 year old Lauren and her Mum are also following this thread!!

Please arrange to pass him on as quickly as possible, by messaging your nearest neighbourly Zed owner and arranging a meet. There is no fixed amount per mile, it's all down to you to voluntarily donate whatever you wish, but hopefully you will enjoy the reactions you experience with Zedward in the car, and will also meet other Zed owners who are within easy reach of you, for future meets, etc

Generally he wants to go clockwise around the Country just to give him some general direction, so when he leaves Bristol this week, he will be heading into Wales and up the West Coast, to Liverpool, The Lakes, and Scotland, before coming down the East Coast. If anyone wants to bring him "inland" that's absolutely fine, we just want to give everyone a chance to get involved and donate, but he needs a destination. As long as he keeps moving and keeps fund raising, we're happy !

Hopefully he will be out fund-raising all summer and will make it back home to Bristol, by September time (as he hibernates over Winter !)
Finally, Please enjoy yourselves and please give generously !

Many thanks
Alan (No5) & Pete (Taz)

Zedward had a tour of Bristol this evening:

We started off overlooking the Severn Estuary and the Welsh Hills,

Then onto Clifton Suspension Bridge:

Where he got out for a closer look.

Then he had a sulk at Bristol Docks, as I wouldn't let him have an Ice Cream in the Car

So contented with a large pasty, he soon fell asleep on a bench !

Then we swang back by Dick Lovett's, the BMW Dealership, where he decided he fancied his own wheels

I left him in the car, whilst I nipped into the loo..

..And then he made his move, fancying himself as a bit of a Steve McQueen !

Weds 27th Apr: Another day, weather not so good, but I brought him to work anyway.

We gave him a little trip to the top of the Severn Bridge Towers, to test his head for heights (at 445ft)

And then brought him back down to earth down on the Tower Plinth at River Level

So, He's ready to go and I've popped my money in the pot.
He's heading to Spikey in Bath over the next few days and amongst the South West boys, we'll pop him over the river into Wales.

Really nicely put together intro to Zedward's travels Alan. Had no idea he was so tall. Lucky he hasn't got a bike licence or he'd have been away with that .

I will be more than happy to show him a little bit of Wales if he's stuck for a lift! I am away though until May 6th,

I can see this being a great laugh RE the pics & even better some cash for a good cause .
All i ask is my turn is before Taz as i know he hasn't dated for a good while & that's a fine looking bear  :D
