Hi, yes, I remember you. As I said earlier a nice bunch of people, thanks to Cam who had a matching model to mine, I've ordered those new mirror caps! I drove 400 miles that day, great opportunity to test out the G29, and it performed brilliantly. I left Scotland at 5am and it was still dark, the cabin lit up like an 80's night club. To keep myself awake I dropped the roof and blasted out the Prodigy, so apologies to all those sleeping in their little rustic village cottages as I went past screeching blaring out 'I'm the firestarter, twisted firestarter!' :evil:

And thanks to you, I've ordered a set of 50th Anniversary Badges! That's the best thing about these meets, you get to see other cars and mods and decide whether they work or not. I didn't think they would look as good on a black car than the other colours, but looked spot on on your car!

And thanks to you Kam, I ordered those replacement wing mirror caps when I got back, they arrived today and the quality and fit are excellent.... the best bit was they were only 95p (including the postage)

After my shock purchase of the new wing mirror caps, I had a further look and I recon I can get the G29 looking like the Batmobile for just under £10 :cpilot: so, I decided to pull the reins in and for the meantime leave the car as is (with the exception of a cargo net for the boot), its got tons of toys on / in it to keep me occupied :wink: I have taken my self levelling wheel centres off for the winter and replaced them with some anniversary ones to match the bonnet/boot badge, interested to see what you do next with yours
