It was just too nice to stay in all day, so a quick trip to the local park and a few photos.

I consider myself lucky to have this place so close as a free public park - 2200 acre playground dating back to Roman times

texasjohn - There are several gates into the park and from each of those you can drive so far in. On the East side there is a linked set of gates and roads that you can drive and park all over in about a 2 mile stretch. Thankfully it's closed to though traffic, so you can walk, bike and enjoy the tranquility of the place

nice, the second image looks great as if the car is lowered slightly, that combined with the hardtop makes the rear quarter look really chunky. love it

also digging the small plate, i am currently eyeing up a plate on the dvla site, same amount of digits as yours. I looked at my rear bumper with the plate off, and some dillweed has drilled a hole under the hole already there to hold the plate on now !. i would have to have that part of the bumper filled and re-sprayed, bummer.

Thanks for the comments - makes me happy I posted the pictures.

Just learning with the camera and was more interested in composing the shots. Trouble is the light was savage - low sun, glare, etc. and beyond my current skill to sort it. Will do better next time.

Breaker - I used to mountain bike in the park a lot and still run the odd 10k there. Amazing place when you consider it's entirely surrounded by city
