Just sold the DD to WBAC and so the Zed now becomes our only car.
Not ideal really, but couldn’t justify running 2 cars, particularly as Lady Marlon doesn’t drive and we both work in the centre of Preston (The daily commute is just under 4 miles return so it’s not going to pile on the miles). I’ve been scouting the best parking bays all week
A word about my experience with WBAC: As expected the online quote of £1,800 wasn’t what I was offered on the day. After an inspection of my 2007 Hyundai i30 I was offered £1,300. The reason given was alloys needed a refurb. (which was true - they were badly tarnished) and some body pannels required respraying (questionable imo). Anyway I said £1,500 was my bottom line and ended up settling for £1,475. So if you are considering WBAC, be prepared to haggle.
