Hmmm. I did read before it would be a soft top and a coupe. Looks to have nice proportions, well what you can make out anyway.
 
They're not the real ones, just to suit the bodywork.

That's got the looks of a potentially very good looking motor, bring it on!
 
It says in the text that it's on Munich-registered plates and the clocks are the same as the next-gen 5 series, they say it isn't a Toyota.
 
Looks like a backwards step.
The E86 looks a better shape and this just looks like a copy of that and a 350Z as already said.
Doesnt look very exciting, I know the paintwork hides a lot but the GT86 looks better too.
 
I think it could be great. I really hope that this is the BMW, but i reckon its the Toyota. Clocks are just in a mule car, the Toyota interior just probably doesn't exist yet.

From the spy shots they is speculation that they are already testing an M version

Either way it looks like it's inherited more E86 DNA than Toyota - curved lower sills, double bubble roof, prominent rear wings and rear window shape. Would be great if this turned out to be a successor to the Z4 Coupe - Porsche and Audi don't seem to have too much trouble shifting fixed head coupes...
 
I think I have found the one, well not exactly but the next best thing for my ever fussy criteria. This will even better Knights Garage new car smell!

It will need a bit of refining but the rear is there, I expect we will see this at next years auto shows, the z5 m coupe!
