Hey guys, since I had some spare time today I decided to brave the colD and get my Z4 back up to my usual standard. Only a mini-detail but thought id stick the pics up anyway.

So it got the following:

-Pre-rinse with open hose
-Rinse with power washer
-Wheels soaked in iron-x and then agitated after 5 mins then rinsed
-Vehicle washed with Iron-x Soap Gel on meguiars wool mitt
-Wheels and lower half soaked in iron-x again and left to dwell for 10 mins then rinsed
-Exhaust cleaned, screbbed, scrubbed again, scrubbed with brillo pad, then soaked in iron-x then rinsed to finally come clean!
-Car dried with drying towel
-Whole car waxed including wheels using Pinnacle Souveran Wax
-Tyres dressed with meguiars endurance gel
-Windows treated with AG glass guard and cleaned inside and out with meguiars glass cleaner
-Floor mats cleaned and wet-vac'd with some household APC
-Leather cleaned and conditioned using Gliptone
-Interior plastics cleaned and dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant
Engine bay (still clean from dealers) re-dressed with 303 Aerospace Protectant

So im guessing you want to see some pics, well here goes with the befores:

CAN ANYONE SPOT MY FIRST MOD??? :D

Matt

Looks fab Mat

Get some front and rear mudflaps on it, first thing I did when I got mine, will stop all that crud going over your hard work

Tim.

good job, you know its gonna get filthy as soon as you take it out dont you..... thats why i've not cleaned mine this week :D

You did all that in 3 hrs? Takes me ages, about an hour just to wash and dry!

Well done, very satisfying.

Stubby isn't really a mod it's mandatory!

Anybody tried snow foaming? In this weather I find it great to whip over, make a cuppa, then come back and rinse without getting my hands wet. Pretty good results and good enough for this time of year when,as said, it soon gets dirty again.

Gotta get this mud flaps, well at least on the front

Not sure about the mud flaps, I think they might spoil the lines of the car - ill reserve judement until i see a black one with them on
