Z4MR spring options

I have been theough quite a lot of old threads, but non have any decent pics. Well that i can find :)

Just got a Z4M, and want it to sit better! So lookking at H&R idealy or Eibach (pro kit).

Quite a few shots of the Eibachs, but any of the H&Rs? And does it effect the ride at all? Had both on M3's through the years, but always found H&R to be the best. But is it the same on the Z4M :D
 
I have put both on...But had H&R on my M roady and on my M coupe..

I like them,believe it of not they actually improve the ride...Although lower the spring wire rate is more compliant.
 
both spring sets lower the car quite alot i think.. maybe alittle too much.... the z4m does look great lowered though.... it really does.
 
Any pics of the H&R? As normally aeibach are pretty moderate. Dont want it slammed by any means, but want it with about 10mm fro the tyre to the arch idealy :driving:
 
Im still deciding on wheels. Either CSL's (i know they have been done time and time again, but i love them) or the 359's from the E92 M3. So they will be 19's :)
 
Looks great , think thats help me make my mind up.... what the best price you have found on the springs?
 
Who me? To be fair I'm the least patient person, so will be getting them on Monday from ECP :D
 
Im a bugger for a bargain....

Larkspeed are by far the cheapest for H&R's....

I also think that all suppliers have a 10-14 day order time..
 
Ok, if ECP dont carry them (they have a lot of H&R springs in stock amazingly), then will give Larkspeed a call.

Just been offered some genuine CSL's so may tie in nicely :D
 
Ooh you lucky sod...

Get them bought if they are the right money.. Getting hard to get hold of decent sets (at the right money)

People keep commenting about CSL's being done time and time again, but they are probably the only wheel other than 224's come sale time that most buyers will accept. Also 224's are now very common on non ///M's

At the end of the day put the whees you like on it, it's your car, but I'd go for genuine CSL's any day :wink:

Exactly, and they always sell instantly as well. Only thing is they have been referbed in a darker grey. All excellent condition, but not sure if the colour will look wrong next to silver grey :cry:
 
Dropped my ZedM on Eibachs which leveled it up a bit with a 25mm drop up front and a 10mm at the rear

Here...... rides very nice and not boneshakingly hard at all!

Although on track spec coilovers I went with a 15mm drop all round. This was as close to stock as I could get it. It may not look nice and slammed but for functionality it's a winner, with the very agressive 18" wheel and slick tyre combo I run this to my eyes actually looks nice too. I won't pretend however the z4 does look hot lowered 25+ mm
