Does this look a decent price?

Looks base spec

Should have had inspection 2 at that mileage / year.

Spec for a weekender i could live with / decent dealer / price closer to £14k with Insp2 would make it more appealing for you

Fort that price Id want all the tyres, brake pads, servicing, etc to be in fairly new condition and the car to be pretty much immaculate.

As said above £14k with the above would make it a decent shout.

yeah, slightly overpriced that one. IL blue also doesn't float my boat but hey that's all personal preference.

My gut feeling it is overpriced. I paid £23K at Vines BMW for a mint, 12K miles, 56 plate Z4 MR in IB nearly 5 years ago so £15K after all this time with that mileage just doesn't sit right !!

Just paid £15.5k for my coupe with less miles and better spec, so i would definitely say its overpriced.

You only have to look at Paz's MR that he recently sold to know this is priced high.

That was priced to sell though, and fixed price. Where as this can be negotiated on.

A real inspection 2 that is, not a "my mate under the bridge can do a full service for £50" type Inspection 2 ...

Be realistic guys, they have to earn a living too...they're not there to sell the car at the same price they buy it for!

If you were to get £1k off and anything else on top I think you've done well really.

Just had confirmation that Inspection II was completed towards the end of last year.

Running in service was done at 1021 miles

It has had 4 registered keepers.

Still £1k too much (based on spec and mileage) but I'll pop in on Saturday and have a good look around.

I had an inspection 1 on my last service and due oil change and brake fluid on the next one. My car is a 2007 with 40k miles. By my calculation mine will be due an inspection 2 at around 55k miles.

That makes me feel better about mine. Paying £13,995 (not negotiation on price but best trade in amount for mine by far) for same mileage and age but with full year MOT, recent inspection 1 - also has cruise and new contis all round.

Are you offering a trade in? If so you may be able to work out a decent price via that?

What warranty comes with it - that would make a difference to me.

There will be other 06s for sale if you are patient and cannot get to the price point you want with this one.

The ///M in Blue looks terrific.

:driving:

Thanks chap (presuming that post is in reply to mine!) - I've actually managed to sell mine privately now, but was originally offered the best price by this dealer. Also believe the £14k ish for it is fair. It's on Norwich Sports and Classics' site still.

Warranty wise I'm umming and arring - it comes with 6 months, with an option to go to 12/24 which I was keen on for a small sum... that's the bit that worries me, as well as some pretty average reviews for WMS as a company...

Just done a comprehensive warranty quote on the vehicle and its coming back with £1322.00 per year (£100 excess & emergency service included)

Has this gone up?
