Z4MC - Suspension options?

Hi all, now i'm pretty sure i'm keeping my car, i'm thinking of mods, my main issue is the harsh ride, its great for a sunday afternoon blast, but not so fun when i'm in a bad mood on the way to work on a miserable rainy day! i use my car everyday for a 70 mile commute, this might sound daft but to the upgraded adjustable suspension options allow for a softer ride? my XR4i(V8 ;)) has adjustable koni's and turning them from soft to hard makes a huge difference! or is this a sure fire way to naff up the handling on my car...

should i also be looking at tyres? i'm still running standard conti's, they don't seem very well regarded, having not tyred another sort i've nothing to form an opinion on?
 
I think there are 2 or 3 Z4M's fitted with Nitron now.

nice, these were highly regarded from my TVR days :) which model are you going for? would be interested in the hearing your feedback? were are you? any chance of a demo ;)
 
Going for the one way kit with adjustable top mounts and Eibach springs.

I live in Stratford Upon Avon - would be very happy to share info and go out in the car.

Kit being fitted by Nitron on the 17th Dec. I'm booked in for a trackday on the 18th. Free after that.
 
no coils will make it softer!!! My KW's from setting 16, to 0 makes sod all difference...barely noticeable if at all.

I'm chuft to bits with my Eibach sportlines, ride is better than std imo! I've got a set forsale! :P

I noticed that...how come you have a spare set?

First set got lost in post. Then turned up! lol...
 
Didn't realise there were so many around this way. I'm a new M Coupe owner and live half-way down the M69 on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border. Would be nice to meet up with a few others, I'm still very much learning my car! :D
 
Would Gaydon be a good place to meet?

We have the museum there and a large car park - you never know we may be able to persuade them to let us use it for an Autotest!
 
Well it's only up the road from me, but been there.. we've already had a z4 meet at Gaydon ! :)
