Was supprised to see just how much the GTR dwarfed the Z4M!
Just goes to show that size does not matter as I would keep the Z all day long for the pure driving satisfation.

Having driven the GTR to the ring, it may be ridiculously fast but just not as involving.

There's one near me that I see around all the time. No denying the total beast nature of it, but doesn't do anything for me looks wise.

looking at the two cars side by side, the zed looks a better looking car...although i do appreciate the GTR is a beast mechanically and technologically.

Really nice looking Z4MC

yeah the GTR is a big old beast..... i would quite like one.... the G meter could give me all sorts of entertainment around roadabouts and corners

the GTR is simply the "cheapest" monster fast that you can have.
It destroys most of the cars that u see onthe road.
Very good car.

The GTR is very impressive...So impressive infact i'd never buy one! Logic? - I have none!

GTRs are awesome, simple as that, its makes the z4m look like its going backwards in EVERY respect, but the bills, ohhhhh the bills, are quite frankly frigtening, easily costs more than you average entry level ferrari/lambo hence the reason i moved mine on...... with a little one on the way i just couldnt afford to run it with the z4m.....

once the baby arrives and i work out the costs i think im going to get back into a 2011 model with all the new upgrades from the factory, nissan did send me an AWESOME arai helmet tho for being one of the first customers.... it looks the nuts, with the GTR symbol etched into the carbon black paint.

lol

Probably not same logic as you Ali but I'd not buy one either (still fancy seeing Stoddie's though). Dunno what it is about them but don't fully float my boat.

Would you mind writing up a few costs/general ownership experiences? Would be an interesting read! I know tyres aint cheap, for certain :o

The GTR is very impressive in performance figures. I have a test drive scheduled this year and I’m looking forward to it. But a lot of people who drove the car told me it's not so involving to drive. It feels a bit artificial, somewhat like driving a car in Gran Turismo. I think the GTR is not a beauty, but it looks cool...and yes it's a really big car in comparison with the Z4M. If I was in the market for a sports car that could seat 4 people... I would go for a BMW M3. Why... I think the M3 coupe is better looking (less boy racer) and ownership cost of GTR doesn’t look good.
