Z4MC Modifications Update

When I purchased my '07 Z4MC a few years ago, it was a bone stock, one owner car with 17K miles. Since then, I've been slowly (budget constrained) chipping away with modifications to improve the car's look/feel/handling. Most recently, I added the MStache 2 front splitter. I now have about 25K miles on the car. I don't track it, but I do enjoy spirited weekend drives with the local Z club. After three years of ownership, I'm still passionately in love with the car! Here are a couple before/after pics. Hope you like what I've done...

Don't believe anyone who says aero skirts are wasted on a black car. They're not :D

Admittedly, the aero skirts are sometimes not as noticeable in photos of my black car (see below) as they are -- for example -- on dubsesd's silver, but I believe they still constitute a big improvement in the car's appearance and are a good bang for the buck.

love the skirts and splitter, are they available from bmw and how much? stunning looker that one

The aero skirts are BMW optional parts for the E85/86. I purchased mine through http://www.getbmwparts.com. The skirts are currently selling on their website for $245 each side. Scroll down on the following page to learn more...

I purchased the fiberglass splitter through a group buy on the ZPost Forum. Each part is separately hand made in the US and there's a lengthy waiting list. I had to wait about a year for mine to be delivered (cost about $300 for delivery in the US). Not sure if overseas delivery is an option. See the following link to learn more...

That's a good photo of it Adam- now then that front splitter? would look good on yours

Thanks for all the kind words, everyone. I developed my end-vision for the car and got many specific ideas from members of this forum, so in a way it's a group project! :)
