Z4M Warranty renewal up

I hear people's luck of no issues versus £330 or abouts
But to me for that amount that I can write off against my tax bill, I'd rather not run the risk as never know with high end powerful cars

So if it goes you bmw and they say oh that's burst etc It's a call and forget issue

But I respect others are happy not too:)
My luck says otherwise haha

It's a third car for me, so if it's broke no panic to fix. If I can't fix myself then will take to an Indy.

Only issues in my 5 years have been the battery and ignition switch last year and the window regulator this month. At a main dealer all of these would have cost a fortune, either paid for or funded by warranty. Battery was £80, ignition switch a tenner and the regulator under £20. So for £130 I'm in profit and happy.

Very true buddy
I use mine and mazzer alternatively on dry days only I may add
So know what you mean, as I know how to fix mazzer it's the M for me that would cost me the most if threw it's dummy out ;)

Looking forward to seeing everyone's at zed fest on a side note

£3086 a year for a warranty, sheer madness its not a £100k car,if you did that for 3 years with tax and insurance you could get another "standby" Z.

Obviously must be something triggering that figure: age/mileage/history. My full warranty through BMW Mon is £950 with £0 excess. Worth its weight in gold.

Not to me as I've save. Nearly 5k by not having it

Yes, however you are not the typical driver/owner doing a few K per year. On the flip side I have saved over £5k having the warranty. :) Its all about luck.

I got my warranty when the car had done 59k miles, i pay £120 odd a month. I think it goes up to £300+ a month over 60k miles - I guess i was lucky to get it when i did

Its on a monthly plan too and so from reading above should stay at that until 100k miles.

I'm always a little bit worried about independent cover not paying out - you hear lots of horror stories. I went for the BMW one in the end for piece of mind and its all dealt with at the dealers.

Maybe i do need to look at other options :?
