Z4M Sway Bar on Z4 E86 3.0SI?

I have been searching the forum whether the Z4M sway bar works on the Z4 E86 3.0SI and so far I have not found a
definitive answer, the most I saw is “it should”
Looking at ream Oem, the sway bar shapes look the same but hard to tell if dimensions wise are idential, exept the M version is thicker.
Mine comes with sport suspension so it’s 25mm vs 27mm for the M.

Has anyone succesfully tried the upgrade?

I would be stunned if it didn't fit. The E86 non-M has the same sway bar as the E46 non-M, and the E46 sway bars are all interchangable (I had an OEM M3, and then a Turner M3 sway bar on my 325ti).

You could also find a 27mm bar from an E46 M3 convertible, they may be more plentiful.

Interesting, thanks for sharing but they have different part#s for some reason ( based on real oem) Both are 27mm

Yes, but will the Z4M sway bar work? I want to know for sure before buying one
