Z4M Replacement Front Bumper Questions

Afternoon guys,

Looking to refresh the front end of the Z4M now that I’ve decided it’s a keeper! (for a few more years anyway :) )

Being OCD, I’m going to treat it to a new bumper, been quoted £511 online for a new one (part number 51 11 3 448 818 ), but they’ve advised I must also replace parts 51718044699 & 700. Can’t quite work out what they are on realoem.com "Filling insert left and right"

Anyone else heard of having to do this? Can I not just swap them over, whatever they are?

Also tempted to replace the lower centre grill at £45.

Lastly, what's fair price for a used bumper including upper kidney grills and lower centre grill? Condition is generally good, just the little corner splitters are a bit chipped and a hairline crack in the paint at the bottom. (not ready to sell yes before everyone starts PM’ing)

Just for the simple reason that I want it perfect again, which I'm quite happy to do for the difference of £200 to £250 by the time I sell my old one, probably less by the time I pay for it to be rubbed down and a get the fins reshaped etc.

Anyway...... :) I've made my mind up, car is mint except for the front bumper, so quite happy to fit a new one.

Anyone know what the two part numbers are and if I can re-use them? That said, they're only £14+VAT each.

It's shown in two places but can't think why you would need it.

I remember reading somewhere that there was some kind of bracket that was sacrificial when removing the bumper, therefor you need new ones when refitting. Could be this part?

The parts will likely be broken when the bumper is removed and must be replaced. Often if the bumper is damaged the part is already broken.
