Z4M Oil Change - South Wales/Bristol

Just had a laughable conversation with my local BMW dealers who quoted me just shy of £250 for the honour of changing the oil and filter in my Z4MR. I have done a couple of searches of local indie's and ForzaWest in Chepstow and Redish Motorsports in Bristol appear to be recommended, however, there don't appear to be any recent posts. Has anyone used them in the last few months please. Thanks in advance.

redish have a seriously good rep as do simpson motorsport in lydney, i take my car to simpson but will be at reddish this year, the attention to detail they take appears to be to another level.

I'm in South Wales and have used Autotech since buying the Z4, an indie in on Ponthir Road just outside Caerleon.
They have been really good to me and very reasonable too I dealt with the owner (I think) Tony, a lovely guy.... although most Tony's are nice.

Yes, Forza did the oil and brake fluid changes on my previous 2.5. All good and reasonably priced.
Take your pick whoever's nearest. Redish, Foza or Simpsons ?

Took my mine to Redish last year for inspection 1
Very pleased with the work carried out
They are usually booked up for couple months

I would recommend Forza.

Simpsons seemed a little bit disorganised, arrived at 8.30 am only for them to "try to fit me in" around them playing around with race cars. I had booked and confirmed a few days earlier.

Redish were ok and James a really nice chap but they were awfully busy/understaffed.

Forza were easily the most professional of the bunch, I forget the ladies name at the desk but she's superb. Takes you straight to the technician that's working and unlike Redish can always be contactable via email/phone.

simpson are disorganised. they a a bunch of race specialists and have little way in people skills in general, but their actual work to your car is about as good as it gets, however when it comes to service the customer relations side needs to be right otherwise your often left feeling underwhelmed,

I take mine to Redish they are excellent & happy to let you hang around while they work if you want.
Downside is that you have to book them early as they always have loads of work on. Upside is they have just doubled the size of their premises so can get more work through.
