I spoke to him and he said he would do it.
The time frame is going to be the problem so you would have to be patient.
Enuff-zed is breaking a Z4 from the 27th June and hopefully I can buy a shaft from him. When I can get the shaft depends on when he removes it.
Once I have it I'll take it to work and see if he can remove the u-joint by drilling it out and not cutting it off like in the guide. If he can do that would you like a new uj both ends?
Next step will be to buy another shaft from ebay and order the new uj(s)
You'd be expecting to pay around £150.
2 x shaft = £80
UJ = £10 or £20 + delivery cost
Upto £50 for the work to be done, could less but won't be more.
If you send your shaft back to me I'd pay you £40 for it and I'll get him knock out another one in case someone else needs one.
It will probably take upto a month but could be less. Depends on too many factors to give an exact time.
