Z4m driveshaft

Hi people can anyone tell me are the z4 drive.shafts the same or are they different for different engines.

Anyone know the part number of the z4m driveshaft. I know nothing about them although i seen them advertising left and right.

If there is a left and right i would be looking for a right one.

I thought there is only one d.shaft on a car?

There is one prop shaft and 2 drive/half shafts.

Have a look on realoem.com to check part numbers and compatibility.

There's a single prop shaft that goes from the gearbox to the rear diff and then two (left & right) drive shafts that go from the rear diff to drive the wheels

33207839468 is the part number I believe. RealOEM is your friend, get familiar with it if you own an M, is very useful!
The Z4M and the E46 M3 share this part and that's it.

Thanks i did check realoem it is good. Just like to make sure as i no basics but not a expert. Many thanks for the info people . The z4 isfriends had slight damage from.wheel wow how hard and expensive bmw parts are my audi tt is.alot easier to source parts. Not enough people crashing there z4.s must be too many carefull drivers .
Just to clarify its the half shaft i need then yes? The one that connects to the wheel ect.
And it will be same off a any e46 m3?
