Hi and welcome to the forum

I think you'll be lucky to find a ///MC for your budget, I don't think I've ever seen one around that figure, even high mileage, I think if you set your budget a little higher, 14 K + you'd have more success

Nice one on AT at something like your money:

Hi

In serious discussions with this one on autotrader. Hopefully fly down next week to view/complete on it... All good drive 300mile home!!! So yeah I know about that one! Anyone know history if car? It has a mix if tyres on it.

Thanks for welcomes guys!!! I know of all the cars advertised just a last shout out for those who were thinking if selling really to be honest... Or potentially selling...

So I was wrong :D

That looks nice and the first I've seen with Amerone seats, best of luck

Good luck..

I remember a cheap black coupe doing the rounds over a year ago now .. It was a bit scruffy, no real history and really bad paintwork.. I think it had black wheels though..

Check everything.. !!

I know you have a limited budget but a coupe needing a insp 2 and a set of brakes will set you back £1500+ and let's not get into bodywork and tyres..

Check HPI too..

There is no real reason given that the car is £2000 underpriced, your gonna have to dig to find it..

That does look somewhat of a steal if all stacks up on viewing , be prepared for slow leaking tyres on those 19inch Mv4's  i don't think there is a set of 4 still going that hasn,t got at least 1 split or crack on inner rim :o rears especially so & 2,3 or 4 splits on 1 rim isn't out of the ordinary  they sit well on the car though

Thanks guys! The wheels are a worry as there are 3 run flats and one rft! Never great especially on these, I forsee me looking for standard wheels or csl copies? Look forward to seeing it this week. Good point regards brakes and an inspection 2.... May b cheaper buying a more expensive car!

Its all maybe's.....

But its suspiciously cheap..

Is the RFT on a wheel with cracks in ? i have seen that before...lol..

I dunno why but that car looks familiar,im sure its the one i mentioned earlier and its in the Birmingham area looking at the phone number, same as the one last year.

Tread carefully fella.... Do you know anyone close to the car that could take a look ?..Or take someone that knows these cars inside out ?

Ah...

The plot thickens...

What area of Birmingham is it of you dont mind me asking ? Do you have the reg number of car ?

I have been trying to find the add for the other one,but no luck at the moment.

I would avoid this car for the following reasons:

-non standard grilles
-Amarone seats
-it's not much cheaper than cars with 20k miles less
-non original wheels
-with the mileage completed I would guess that an Ins II is looming and discs last approx 35-45k miles which means they will more than likely be very worn (easily identified by a lip on the outer disc on the fronts).

A set of 224's or will be £600/£700 with decent tyres, Ins II if near will be £600/£700 and discs and pads all round are essentially £1k or thereabouts. In addition a lower mileage car will hold its value better and be easier to sell going forward.

Maybe it's had recent discs, Ins II, etc but after looking at Z4m's for the best part of 5/6 months before buying Id say generally speaking any car that is cheap is so for a reason and won't work out cheap once the "faults" are corrected.

Ruby black is a lovely colour though and Amarone may suit it :)

Mix of RFT and non RFT on the same axle :thumbs down: - WARNING for me - CHECK IT THOROUGHLY

These are all selling points / negotiation tactics from my perspective..
