Doesnt look a bad price on the face of it......

Untill you see that "it needs finishing" and looks like every warning light is illuminated on the dash! :(

So is it a Cat D write off that has been repaired to a approved Std?

** Edit **

Looks like Cat C need the inspection so Cat C.

Not sure 100% but it also looks like it has the wrong headlights. The inners look black and more like halogen.

It definitely has the wrong wheels and the wrong description - M3???

Makes you wonder to what standard it has been repaired to?

How can you distinguish that the car is a Cat C ?

Look how far the front wheel sits inside the arch ?

The wheels arent a problem if they are genuine M3 wheels, there have been a few on the forum running them.

I can't just going on the V rating which means it's been repaired and required an Inspection. Cat C cars require this inspection to return to the road.

I see what you mean re the near side front wheel, looks to far in.

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. I'd prefer to buy an unrepaired cat C/D and do it myself.

That's not Kiwi leather either. Looks like he assumed light leather on an M3 is Kiwi, so the same must be true of the Z4M, which means he knows eff all about Z4Ms and he wants you to trust him that he's fixed it up so far correctly. Also the rear wheels look like they've got positive camber!

You could have mine for less than that - albeit with 3 times the mileage

Im pretty sure Cat D cars are also on the VCAR (vehicle condition alert register)...

Either way,he needs to clear up what state of alert the car is..

Like has been said, the headlights look like halogens but he lists Xenons in the listing..

Dunno.....Buying cars on the register has never bothered me if theyre repaired properly and of course the price is right..

That car looks more like a 9k vehicle to me...I think the M3 wheels detract from the cars looks..................A lot!

Classic, leaving the fact it's V-Car until the end if the advert...

And needs 'finishing off'...

Steer well clear of this one IMO...

Why buy an unfinished write-off when there are proper examples around for this sort of money?

....... and the winner of the 2012 Z4 big turn-off advert is ...

The guy's a joker
