Hi All,
If I can introduce myself, my name is George, and as of December last year, I became the owner of a E85 Z4M Coupe.
I have owned a Z4 M Coupe for about a year now and it has been an absolute joy, the feistiness of the S54, coupled with the long nose image have led me to really fall for the car.
A couple of months ago the car met with another on a roundabout that resulted in the wheel arch being pushed in. Even though the headlight works as well as it use to, it now mists which it never use to previously.
Based on your knowledge of the xenon headlights, do you think there is a chance that a seal may need replacement somewhere? Or its more likely the headlight cracked? I am eager to get the car repaired, but a grand for a Xenon headlight is proving to be a sticking point.
We tried taking the headlight out to ascertain if it actually is broken anywhere, however we can't seem to get the headlight off without taking the bumper off. In your experience can the headlight come out without the bumper coming off? If so I will seek to get the bodywork repaired in the first instance and try and diagnose/ repair/ buy the headlight in my own time.
In the mean time, and on a lighter note, I attach some images of my car.
Kind Regards,
George
