Z4M brakes on a 3.0i?

is it possible to do a straight swap on my 3.0i to Z4MC rotors and calipers.

also my winter rims are OEM 17" would these fit over Z4M brakes? can you Z4M guys put 17"s on your cars?

Are the 3.0l brakes not very good then? Is there a noticeable difference from the M brakes or do you want them for the looks etc?

People go on about them not fitting as it needs lots of work. What work needs doing? Is it essentially the hubs that are different on the z4m?
 
Disregard, i've just looked up the differences, its the bolt pattern for the callipers, and subsequently the suspension mounting set up is different so its not just a case of changing hubs
 
I find that the OEM brakes can fade quickly on the 3.0i. The 3.0si are better, although they wont be anywhere near ///M stopping power
 
yah i'm sure the M brakes are better, why else would they be M brakes?

someone i know is getting a BBK on his M and would have sold me the brakes if it would work out...

They would also fill out my rims a lot better.
