Hi All, it is now time for me to sale my Z4 coupe after 8 years of ownership and move to something else.
Before you read further, please be aware that this car is LHD and located in France.
I know I will probably not make the sale through the forum, but I thought I may at least post it here as I owed a lot to this place when I was looking for advice or a just a good read
So here we are:
Z4 coupe 3.0si automatic SE (LHD) - Paint: Black sapphire.
Currently 105'000 km
I purchased it in September 2013, I am the 2nd owner.
It is 100% original except of the kidney grills that are black with chromed frames (the originals will be provided along with the car).
Options:
- M steering wheel, with shift paddles
- 18" BMW original wheels style 203
- Sport seats
Servicing:
- All inspections performed at BMW dealership since delivery, the last one is an Inspection II carried out in July 2020 at 102'875 km.
- Previous inspections were always accomplished on time per the maintenance schedule.
- During my ownership, an oil servicing was additionally performed every year.
- Both automatic gear box oil and diff oil were replaced at 89'295 km.
Major parts replacement:
- DISA valves (pre and post air intake manifold) were replaced in 2020 due to rattling noise.
- Valve cover replaced in 2020 at the same time to address a possible crankcase vent valve leaking, more of a preventive action actually.
- LH rear wheel bearing worn and replaced in 2020
- All four brake rotors and pads were replaced in 2017, less than 12'000 km are on them.
- Xenon bulbs replaced in 2017
- Battery replaced in Dec 2016
- Water pump in 2016 at 90'484 km
- LH & RH front control arms replaced in 2015 at 84'070 km
Spare parts:
- Current set of wheels is a spare set which was purchased new in 2020. The original set of alloys is in good condition and will be sold extra without tires mounted at 400€. The intention was to use this set for winter tires, but a second car came in).
- The LH headlight was replaced in 2015 due to a defective adjustment of the lamp's height. I realized later that the issue came from a plastic gear in the mechanism not engaging. The removed headlight can be provided along with the car as it is in good shape and surely this mechanism can be easily fixed (this is a 700€ assy).
- Brand new driver and passenger floor carpets will be sold extra at 50€.
The car is mechanically very sound, it drives as it should and the next owner should have very minimal running costs.
The exterior is in a good shape, no dents, no visible scratches but a couple of paint chips missing on the front bumper.
Everything is in order in the interior given the age of the car.
Asking price is 21'500€.
