Hi all!
Had a search on the forum and found various info on this but still can't get my head round it!!
I have a z4c non //m.

I'm picking up some 224's tomorrow..
I currently have 108's with new eagle f1's on..
225/40/18 fronts
255/35/18 rears

Will these be fine to swap over onto the 224's?
I understand everything mechanical and most electrics on a car but really struggle to get my head round wheel/tyre fitments!!
All help and advice really appreciated!!

Thankyou for the fast reply!
Is there a better combo I could go for atall? Bigger profile rears maybe?
I like a good old chunky tyre with a big profile so the bigger I can go the better! Aslong as its a better ride or combo..

You will want a low profile tyre due to the greater offset the rim sticks out of the arch more a "chunky tyre could interfere with the arch lip. What the 108 rims have on is fine though

255/35/18's

I have that set up on mine,no problems

Against the above I would fit the ///M sized rubber designed for the 224s , especially as the rears are 9j width not 8.5j as 108s are :? no reason not to go 255 40 / 225 45 without issues

Here's the last set i had on my non M 3.0Si (not lowered) with 215 45 fronts & 245 40 rears

& again on a previous non M Si (not lowered) this time with 255 40 + 225 45

Thanks for all the advice!
Car looks good mr wilks! Wheels really suit it..
The wheels I'm getting already have some 255/40/18 tyres on the rear, so I guess I can see what their like on the car with some heavy cornering and speedbumps etc.. Then fit my ones and see which i prefer!
Again, thankyou very much everyone!
