I hope the buyer doesnt find this forum... they will probably be perfectly happy with it, until they come here... and by the time they make it a sport spec it would cost more then buying a sport in the first place!

Maybe we should request a deletion of the topic out of respect... It really would make you feel sick seeing this if you'd bought it and went that way!

How you getting on in the Derby snow Aquazi? We've definitely had a good covering (for Derby anyway...) Running winters this year, but still not going as as much as normal - no point looking for trouble in commuter traffic...

It still looks a bit too cheap, even with the low spec. Those dodgy E60 M5 reps hint towards a bit of crashy crashy (possibly unrecorded) or it's been clocked.

Could be the guy just wants it shifting though, I mean half cloth seats :thumbsdown:

I know when I was looking round early last year, I came across a review which was very complimentary about the se spec... mainly in regards to everyday comfort and ride/ suspension. Never looked at one though so I don't know how much difference it all makes.

I decided to give it a go this morning in derby! Not the smartest thing as it took me 1.5hours for a 15 miles journey to burton, which normally takes 25min! And only 2 people out of 25 came in!!

The main roads are not so bad, i dont think the council did a half bad job gritting this yr.. In town anyway, my road was perfect for sledging/ snow boarding :lol:

How do you find your winters?

OK...maybe I did make the right call then, because I too travel to Burton when in Derby, I've spoken with people in the office and they said it was fine, no problems on the roads in... but your experience is certainly much different! 1.5 hours is crazy for such a (normally) straight forward journey.

I've got Vred Wintrac Extreme. I'd say they improve matters by giving traction so I can actually move, which with Falken 452's on last year once I stopped I wasn't going anywhere. However, before the snow I'd definitely say they had less grip than the Falkens in the wet. In the snow, as I said, they give traction to move, but still got to be very careful not to slide out, particularly on untreated surfaces - which is fair enough. Certainly feel safer, but they're no magic cure to the inherent issues associated with driving a rear wheel drive in snow. Although it's fun...
