There are some cars where LHD doesn't matter. Z8/Alpina Roadster is one, Lancia Delta HF Integrale would be another...

Granted it's better to own a car only made in LHD than to own a LHD variant of a car that can be bought as RHD - that's just stupid (IMHO).

Nope, LHD is a compromise too far, you can't overtake, you can't get to the ticket machines in multi storey car parks, you can't pay at the Dartford crossing or any other UK toll booth and your passengers always try to get in the "driver's" side. Not even a Z8 can overcome these things.

I've never seen a Z8 in the metal.... would love a drive in one, but doubt I'd be swapping my Z4 for a Z8 any time soon
